The singer, 53, put on an impressive performance during the halftime show of the NFL Super Bowl XLVI football game between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots.
There was just one small slip-up onstage where the singing legend was strutting her way across the bleachers to Music, the second song in her set, and was unable to step up onto one of them and had to repeat the dance move to hoist herself up.

An uptempo dance song, “End of Time” exhibits the influence of late Fela Kuti, as stated by Knowles, in the sense that the bass line of the song was influenced by the multi-instrumentalist musician and composer. Also displaying elements Afrobeat, the song’s instrumentation consists of marching band percussion, drums, and horns. The high energy level provided by these musical instruments have been noted by music critics to have similarities to several Michael Jackson’s songs, including “Off the Wall” (1980). “End of Time” has been generally very well received by music critics who have coined it as one of highlights on 4 thanks to the effective melding of its heavy beat and its lyrical content. Some also noted that boldness of Knowles on “End of Time” and praised how the beat manages to the song a catchy one.

On the ITV show: “There will be lots of duets. The plan so far is for a duet with her sister Dannii Minogue, Nick Cave, Jason Donovan and a finale featuring a duet with Madonna.”

The entertainer has already confirmed plans to release a Greatest Hits compilation album featuring “acoustic and orchestral versions” of her biggest songs.

She has also teased plans to embark on an “anti-tour”, which will see her take the re-worked versions of her most popular tracks around small venues instead of arenas.

Neighbours fans will be hoping she decides to dust off Charlene’s dungarees for the anniversary too.

Madonna’s Golden Globe winning song Masterpiece is not eligible to be nominated for an Academy Award!
The requirements are pretty minimal, but a technicality threw a monkey wrench in the Material Girl’s Oscar dreams.
According to the Academy, songs must “consist of words and music, both of which are original and used specifically for the film; and be used either in the body of the film, or as the “first music cue” in the closing credits.”
The only thing preventing a nomination is the fact that the song is the second, not the first, featured in the film’s closing credits!
Talk about a “D’oh!”
It’s a damn shame Madonna and the producers of her film didn’t think of this before they released it! After all, the Queen of Pop has done just about EVERYTHING except win an Oscar.
Oh well. She’s got plenty of years left and we’re confident this won’t be the last song she writes for a film that isn’t up for award consideration!

“Marry the Night” is a song by American recording artist Lady Gaga. It was released as the fifth single from her second studio album, Born This Way (2011). More than 90,000 people are currently living with HIV in the UK and globally an estimated 33.3 million people have HIV. More than 25 million people between 1981 and 2007 have died from the virus, making it one of the most destructive pandemics in history.

Today, many scientific advances have been made in HIV treatment, there are laws to protect people living with HIV and we understand so much more about the condition. But despite this, people do not know the facts about how to protect themselves and others from HIV, and stigma and discrimination remain a reality for many people living with HIV. World AIDS Day is important as it reminds the public and Government that HIV has not gone away there is still a vital need to raise money, increase awareness, fight prejudice and improve education.

The 53-year-old singer is going to make her return with a massive gig in Hyde Park.

She is planning to win back her Queen Of Pop title by playing to 60,000 fans smack bang in the middle of the Olympics.

What with the 2012 Games, The Stone Roses reunion and now Madge, it’s going to be a busy summer.

Just when everyone thought she was winding down, she’s coming back to the stage with a vengeance.

A source said: “Madonna is planning a huge comeback and was determined to do it at Hyde Park while the Olympics are on.

“She’s been out of the limelight musically for a while but is ready to jump back into the saddle and thinks there’s no better time to do it than when London hosts the Olympics.”

Madonna is old enough to be a granny and might be getting on a bit to get back into the groove — but she knows what she’s doing.

She has sold more than 300million records worldwide and amassed a fortune of more than £400million since her first UK hit Holiday reached No6 in the charts in 1984.

No doubt she will have a huge production and more complex choreography than ever before.

And if tickets sell well, you can bet it won’t just be the one night either. After trying and failing at being a director after her latest movie W E was slated, she announced she was going back to her day job by releasing a 12th studio album.

Last month, Em — as her pals call her — said the follow-up to 2008 album Hard Candy will be “more good music” and out next spring.

Earlier this week, it was also revealed Madonna is to perform at next February’s Super Bowl in Indianapolis, where she will headline the annual NFL match after beating off competition from Lady GaGa.

By the time she hits Hyde Park, she’ll have the new songs and dance routines nailed.

From her tenth studio album Confessions on a Dance Floor. Produced by Madonna and Stuart Price, the song was released as the third single from the album by Warner Bros. Records on June 6, 2006. The decision was spurred by the fact that “Get Together” was the third most downloaded song from the album. It was also released to coincide with the start of Madonna’s Confessions Tour. Inspired by Stardust’s single “Music Sounds Better with You”, “Get Together” portrays an anthem-like picture with its lyrics, about the different possibilities of finding love on the dance floor.
Contemporary critics appreciated the song, calling it fluid in nature and a wonderful dance track. They complimented Madonna’s ability to turn cliché comments into pop slogans with the song. After its worldwide release, the song became a success on the dance charts of the United States but failed to enter the official Billboard Hot 100 chart. American Life is the ninth studio album by American singer-songwriter Madonna. It was released on April 22, 2003 by Maverick Records and distributed by Warner Bros. Records. The album produced in its entirety by Madonna and Mirwais Ahmadzaï featured references to many parts of American culture. The album is considered a concept album, with recurring themes of “American Dream” and “materialism”. Furthermore, the themes reject the reputation Madonna held in the 1980s with her worldwide hit “Material Girl”. Essentially composed of pop, electronica, rock and dance-pop music, critics also noted influences of acoustic music on tracks such as “X-Static Process” and “Intervention”. The album also featured her 2002 James Bond theme “Die Another Day” from the film of the same name.
In the United States and in the United Kingdom the album debuted at number one. It was nominated for two Grammys at the 46th Grammy Awards. The record was the world’s 32nd-best-selling album in 2003. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and British Phonographic Industry (BPI) both certified it platinum in recognition of one million shipments in the US, and three hundred thousand shipments in the UK, respectively. It is the second Madonna Album to have a Parental Advisory sticker, after Erotica. Generally critic opinion was mixed with responses noting the “warmer sounds” as well as several critics noting the “innovation” at a time of R&B dominance, but general responses calling the record uninspired and uninteresting.
