The band are due to go on their third headlining tour, however they will tour arena’s instead of theaters during the All Fired Up Tour. Following their untitled fourth album, which is due for release in November 2011. On July 23rd the Saturdays sang their 2nd single All Fired Up (from their 4th Album) at Audley End Concerts the single will be coming out on the 4th of September.

“Notorious” is the tenth & lead single from girl group The Saturdays’ third studio album. The song is produced by Steve Mac and written by Ina Wroldsen & Steve Mac. It will be released digitally on May 22, 2011.

Wordshaker is the second studio album by British girl group The Saturdays, released on 12 October 2009 through Fascination Records. It is the group’s first album to feature song where they are credited as writers. Upon release the album peaked at number nine on the UK Albums Chart, but the following week fell out the top 30. As of August 2010, the album has been removed from UK iTunes and other digital download outlets, possibly due to Headlines! being released featuring some of the same material.
It was preceded by the lead single “Forever Is Over”, written by James Bourne and produced by The Runaways which peaked at number two. Second single “Ego” was released on 4 January 2010 and equalled the album’s success by reaching number nine on the UK Singles Chart.

I have a big collection mega-mixes from lots of different artists, all just sitting gathering dust. Some are classics and I still love playing them and some I never played before and never will but its always good to hear a mega-mix of songs from your favourite artist so I hope I have posted yours here.

“Higher” is a song performed by British girl group The Saturdays taken from their mini album, Headlines!. Written by Ina Wroldsen and co-written & produced by Arnthor Birgisson, the song confirmed to be the mini-album’s second single. Prior to its release, “Higher” was remixed to feature new vocals from US rapper Flo Rida and it is now this version which will be released on 1 November 2010 through Fascination Records. The collaboration came about the rapper’s single “Club Can’t Handle Me” beat the group’s previous single “Missing You” to number one, making it the second time they had lost out to Flo Rida.

“Ego” is an electropop song by British girlband The Saturdays. The song was written and produced by Steve Mac, and co-written by Ina Wroldsen. It was the second single released from the group’s second studio album Wordshaker. The song was added to mainstream radio on November 25. “Ego” is an up-tempo song with electro-pop characteristics.
A superhero-themed music video, directed by Richard A. Moore, to “Ego” was released on November 17, 2009.
“Ego” was remixed by American remixer Jason Nevins and British remix production team Almighty for the single’s digital format release.

The Saturdays are signed to Fascination Records, a sub-label of Polydor Records. Their album, Chasing Lights, was recorded during May and June 2008 with input from multiple producers and writers, including Ina Wroldsen and Alex Cartana. The group supported Girls Aloud on their Tangled Up Tour before the release of their first single, “If This Is Love“. The single was released in July 2008 and peaked at number 8 on the UK Singles Chart.
The second single, “Up“, was released in October 2008 and peaked at number 5. Also in October, the album Chasing Lights was released to generally mixed reviews. The album peaked at number 9 on the UK Albums Chart. The third single, “Issues“, was released in January 2009 and reached number four.
In January, the group released their fourth single, a cover of the Depeche Mode song “Just Can’t Get Enough” as one of the official Comic Relief 2009 singles, released on digital sales, 1 March, and on physical sales, 2 March. On 8 March 2009, the single peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart, just behind Flo Rida’s single Right Round, making this the first Comic Relief single not to reach number one since 1994. However, this is their highest charting single.
The song also was the girl’s third consecutive top twenty hit in Ireland, breaking into the top ten at number 9 in its second week of release, giving them their first top ten single and their first top ten appearance in a foreign music market.
The group have also confirmed that they will be doing their own tour in 2009 – “The Work Tour”, which will coincide with the release of their fifth single, “Work”. The single ended up peaking in the UK outside of the top twenty at #22, making “Work” the band’s lowest charting single. The single is not in the UK Top 40 as of 2 August 2009.

It has been confirmed that the group will release its second album Colonial Masses on 26 October with the first single ‘Forever Is Over‘ released on 5 October. The video for “Forever Is Over” was leaked onto YouTube on 22nd August 2009.
