Although not as successful as her debut album Schizophonic, it reached a peak position of number five on the UK album chart. With first-week sales of 35,000 copies and total sales of 155,000, it became the 127th best selling album of 2001 in the UK. It eventually received an American release digitally via the iTunes Store on October 30, 2007, despite the relatively poor sales in the UK which ensured Gold status only.

Queer as Folk is a 1999 British television series that chronicles the lives of three gay men living in Manchester’s gay village around Canal Street. (thats where i live and hang round lol) Both Queer as Folk and Queer as Folk 2 were written by Russell T Davies, who was also responsible for a later gay-related drama, Bob and Rose, and the revival of Doctor Who on the BBC in 2005. The first series was re-shown on More 4 between 14-18 October 2007 as part of Channel 4′s 25th birthday celebrations.

Geraldine Estelle “Geri” Halliwell (born 6 August 1972) is an English recording artist, author and philanthropist. After coming an international star as a member of the girl group, the Spice Girls, Halliwell launched her solo career and released her debut album Schizophonic. Since then she has released two more studio albums — Scream If You Wanna Go Faster and Passion — and four number one singles at the UK Singles Chart, “Mi Chico Latino”, “Lift Me Up”, “Bag It Up” and “It’s Raining Men”. In 2008 Halliwell published a book series named Ugenia Lavender
