Whitney Houston – Randoms

Posted in Almighty, Freemasons, Whitney Houston on April 14th, 2010 by hbradley

The Nothing but Love World Tour is the ninth concert tour by American pop, R&B and soul singer Whitney Houston. It is her first tour in over 10 years and will support her recently released seventh studio album I Look to You. The tour will visit Asia, Europe and Australia.

On February 22, the opening night of the Australian leg of Houston’s tour suffered scathing reviews from fans and critics alike. Her night in the Brisbane Entertainment Centre was very poorly received, with many fans reportedly walking out in the beginning of the show. Houston vocal condition was described as croaky and hoarse, with many fans claiming they would demand a full refund. One fan said “She couldn’t entertain a dead rat”, while another said it was the worst concert of their life and deemed the show, laughable. Another action which came under fire from fans was when Houston paused her signature song I Will Always Love You for many moments while she towelled herself, and went to get a drink of water. Houston was said to be disoriented and in poor vocal and mental condition, as she couldn’t remember her band’s name.

Diana Ross – Almighty Mixes

Posted in Almighty, Diana Ross, Freemasons on June 24th, 2009 by hbradley

In early December 2008, Motown announced the result of an international poll of the greatest Motown tracks. The winner, worldwide, was Marvin Gaye’s “I Heard it Through the Grapevine” while Ross’ version of “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” was No. 2. This track was the top choice by British voters. The poll determined the track listing for a Motown fiftieth anniversary album to be released in December. A significant number of Supremes and Diana Ross songs finished in the top 50 of the poll, requiring the elimination of some of these songs from the final tracklisting to prevent an unbalanced track selection.
On October 16-17, 2009, Diana Ross is scheduled to headline the annual Dutch concert event, “Symphonica in Rosso”, in the 29,000-seat Gelredome Stadium, in Arnhem, The Netherlands. Ross will be accompanied by a 40-piece orchestra.
