A-Teens – Halfway Round The World

Halfway Around the World was A*Teens’ second single from their second album Teen Spirit.
After traveling literally halfway around the world promoting their album Teen Spirit, they released the second single with medium success. The single peaked at number seven in Sweden after a few weeks inside the Top Ten earning a gold certification. The song charted well in Asia and Latin America, peaking at number nine in Mexico, number seventeen in Argentina and number thirteen in Chile.
The single was released with the B-side, “Can’t Stop the Pop”, which was first released on the Japanese edition of the album.
The single was delayed in the United Kingdom along with the album. When it finally got released it only reached number thirty.

A-Teens – Mamma Mia

“Mamma Mia” became the first single by A*Teens’ which was released as the debut single from the album The ABBA Generation. The song is a cover version of the popular hit by ABBA.
When the single came out in the spring of 1999, it became a smash hit in their home country, Sweden, where it peaked at number-one and stayed there for eight consecutive weeks earning a platinum certification.

A-Teens – Super Trouper

“Super Trouper” was A-Teens’ second single from their 1st album The ABBA Generation, a cover of ABBA’s song. When the single came out in the fall of 1999, it became a hit around the globe, just as its predecessor “Mamma Mia”, also an ABBA cover. “Super Trouper” debuted at number 2 in Sweden & was later Certified Platinum.
It also became their only Top 5 hit in Germany peaking at number 4. The single also reached number 21 in the United Kingdom, number 18 in Switzerland, number 15 in Norway, number 11 in Austria & number 12 in Netherlands.
