It has received extremely positive reviews from critics many of whom praise the song for its inspirational lyrics and for its uptempo feel-good vibe which includes angelic harmonies.

On February 22, the opening night of the Australian leg of Houston’s tour suffered scathing reviews from fans and critics alike. Her night in the Brisbane Entertainment Centre was very poorly received, with many fans reportedly walking out in the beginning of the show. Houston vocal condition was described as croaky and hoarse, with many fans claiming they would demand a full refund. One fan said “She couldn’t entertain a dead rat”, while another said it was the worst concert of their life and deemed the show, laughable.
