DJ Spook News
Posted in Uncategorized on March 22nd, 2010 by hbradleyIts now approaching one whole year since my site really began to come into its own. I really appreciate all your support with downloads, and a huge thanks to those who post comments on my site either by my chatty box or my comments link.
However judging by the amount of downloads I’m receiving there are a lot of people who do not leave a comment or even a thank-you.
Doing these blogs does take time and to a degree a lot of effort (depending on the size of the blog) Once again I only do this to give everybody the remixes that are hard to find or a remix you hear in a nightclub. So if you’re a fan of remixes, a fellow DJ or just downloading your favorite artist then PLEASE leave a comment of support.
Thanks xx
DJ Spook
After all it will make my work worth while.

Lady Gaga – Telephone
Posted in Lady Ga Ga on March 20th, 2010 by hbradley“Telephone” is a song by American recording artist Lady Gaga from her second studio album The Fame Monster, featuring American R&B singer Beyoncé Knowles. Gaga originally wrote “Telephone” for Britney Spears, however plans did not go through, and Gaga recorded the song herself, with Beyoncé as the featured vocalist. The main inspiration behind the song was Gaga’s fear of suffocation. The lyrics portray the singer as preferring the dance floor, rather than answer her lover’s phone calls. Gaga explained that the telephone addressed in the lyrics of the song, is in reality a person telling her to continue working harder. Musically, the song consists of an expanded bridge, verse-rap and an epilogue where the line is disconnected. Knowles appears in the middle of the song with the verses being sung in a rapid-fire way, accompanied by double beats.

This follows Alexander Rybak’s win at the 2009 Contest with “Fairytale”. It will be the third time Norway has hosted the contest, having previously done so in 1986 and 1996.
