“Single Ladies” is ranked as the number two Best Song of the Decade in Rolling Stone magazine’s Reader’s Poll. The song appeared at number 50 on the magazine’s critics’ list of the 100 Best Songs of the Decade.
“Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” is a song by American R&B; singer Beyoncé Knowles, composed by Christopher Stewart, Terius Nash, Kuk Harrell and Knowles for her third solo album, I Am… Sasha Fierce. The song was released as the album’s second single after her worldwide hit “If I Were a Boy”. It was a critical and commercial success, becoming Knowles’ fifth solo single to peak at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, and peaking in the top 10 in various countries.

The Sugababes are currently releasing their seventh studio album, Sweet 7, their first since signing with Jay Z’s record label Roc Nation in March 2009. The album features productions from NeYo, RedOne, Stargate, Ryan Tedder, Fernando Garibay, and the Smeezingtons, with additional contribution coming from Sean Kingston. Sweet 7, the first studio album with new member Jade Ewen, will be released on 8 March 2010 in the UK.
“Wear My Kiss” is a pop song by the Sugababes’ for their seventh studio album, Sweet 7. It was produced by Fernando Garibay. The song is the third single from the album and will be released as a digital download on February 21, 2010, followed by CD single on February 22.

“Don’t Stop Believin’” is a popular song by the American rock band Journey, originally released as a single from their 1981 album Escape. Often considered the band’s signature song, the power ballad became a top ten hit on the US Billboard Hot 100, the UK Singles Chart and the Australian Singles Chart. As digital downloads became prominent in the late 2000s it enjoyed a resurgence in popularity, partly due to being featured on several television shows. Allmusic has described the song as “an anthem for the young who wanted to feel free and unrestricted”, featuring “one of the best opening keyboard riffs in rock.”

Soft Cell – Say Hello (Wave Goodbye)

Soft Cell are an English synthpop duo who came to prominence in the early 1980s. They consist of vocalist Marc Almond and David Ball on synthesizers. The duo is known for their 1981 worldwide smash – a significantly reworked cover version of Gloria Jones’ “Tainted Love”. While this song was Soft Cell’s only Top 40 success in the United States, they had 10 UK Top 40 hits, including “Bedsitter” , “Say Hello, Wave Goodbye” , “Torch” and “What!”. In addition, the band also had four UK top 20 albums between 1981 and 1984. Soft Cell’s additional UK hit singles were “Where The Heart Is”, “Numbers”, “Down In The Subway”, “Soul Inside” and “The Night”.

JLS – Remixes

Following their appearances on The X Factor, JLS signed to Epic Records, and enjoyed continued chart success throughout 2009. Their debut single “Beat Again” went to number-one in the UK Singles Chart on 19 July 2009, selling over 100,000 copies in its first week of release, while their second single “Everybody in Love”, which was released on 2 November 2009, topped the UK Singles Chart too, selling over 120,000 copies in its first week of release. The band’s eponymous debut album was released on 9 November 2009, and has since gone triple Platinum, with sales of over 900,000 copies in the UK alone. The album has outsold Alexandra Burke’s debut album Overcome by around two to one.
JLS won the awards for Best Newcomers and Best Song (“Beat Again”) at the 2009 MOBO Awards.
